The RYA Start Yachting Weekend Practical Sailing Course and Experience is designed for those interested to see if yacht cruising is a hobby for them, to get a partner or the family more interested, and for those considering training further so they can charter bareboat or flotilla in the UK / Mediterrean / Worldwide.
No prior boating experience is required &
you don't need to buy any specialist clothing or gear.
This RYA sailing lesson is also designed as a weekend yachting break for individuals, couples or families, with plenty of opportunities to get lots of 'hands-on' steering-time and learning essential skills at sea - an official RYA Course Completion Certificate is also included, and you can go on to complete the full RYA Competent Crew Course in just a further two weekends, as this weekend formally counts as your first Certificate in the RYA Sail Cruising Scheme.
