This promotional competition is operated by 1st ScotSail Training Limited, Largs Yacht Haven, KA30 8EZ. There is no fee to enter and no purchase is necessary. To enter, submit your details using the online form at the top of this webpage. The competition closing date is 1200hrs on Monday 10th April 2017. Submissions may still be submitted after this time but will not be counted as valid or eligible to win any prizes. Submissions may also be submitted in writing to our business address, but must be received by the competition closing date. There is no cash alternative to any prize. There is one prize, and one winner. The winner will be chosen at random from all of the valid entries received up to and including the competition closing date. Employees of ScotSail®, associates, directors or their immediate family members are not eligible to enter this competition. In the case of a dispute, the competition operators' judgement is final in all cases and they shall have no iiability to entrants whatsoever. Details of winners, the prize-giving and course may be shared and promoted through social and/or conventional media, and winners may be asked to take part in a photo-opportunity for publication by ScotSAC and/or ScotSail®. ---PRIZE DETAILS---
The prize consists of the following: 2 Days RYA Instruction to RYA PowerBoat Level 2 (Coastal/Tidal) level provided to any three persons as chosen by the competition winner. This will be provided at Largs Yacht Haven, KA30 8EZ, and the winners must provide their own powerboat, which is of a suitable size, type & condition of repair and equipage for the training as deemed by the RYA (Royal Yachting Association), the RYA Instructor delivering the training and the competition operator. The competition winner or the attendees are responsible for any costs or logistics of travel to the training site, and of operating their boat, such as fuel, storage or slippage fees, and must have the capability of launching and recovery, if they bring their vessel on a trailer. In addition, each attendee must bring a recent passport-sized photo with them, and pay the £8.00 fee for the RYA Photo I.D. Certificate and Registration, and the RYA PowerBoat Handbook. The vessel which the winner or attendees elect to use for the training must be fully-comprehensively insured. The training shall be delivered by a RYA PowerBoat Instructor who is also a professional diver. He/she will plan your training and deliver the RYA PowerBoat Level 2 (Coastal/Tidal) training course syllabus with a focus on areas of particular importance or interest to recreational divers. There will be no diving activities associated with this RYA Training Course operated by the competition operator.
