I'm Totally New To Boating - Where Do I Start?
If you're interested in sailing - it's the RYA Start Yachting Weekend or the RYA Competent Crew Course (5 Nights or 3 x Weekends).
This is a FUN and hand-on way to get yachting, with no prior knowledge or experience, get a weekend or week away and a real internationally-recognised qualification to boot. You can take things further by stepping on to the RYA Day Skipper course, allowing you to charter yachts on holiday worldwide!
If powerboating is more your thing, it's the RYA PowerBoat Level 2 - so if you want to hire boats on holiday abroad, or just get the skills to be safe at sea on your own family-leisure or fishing boat, sign up to the 2 day practical course.
No prior knowledge is expected, and it results in the internationally recognised RYA Photo-ID Licence Card Certificate, accepted by boat hire and insurance companies everywhere!
