Can I Change Course Type Half-Way Through?
Yes! In actual fact, when it comes specifically to the RYA Sail Cruising courses, when you book a course it's really just flexible sailing course option and you can choose on arrival - and during - what course level to aim for, with help and advice from your RYA Instructor.
So, if you think that you might be starting off somewhere in between courses, like Competent Crew and Day Skipper, for example, then it's simply a case of coming along with an open mind, having a chat with your Instructor and aiming for the highest level your comfortable with.
There are no extra costs associated with changing course types or deciding to go for a higher level at the last minute.
