Will It Be Cold?

All our Sailing Yachts have warm, comfy cabins and sitting areas, and are fully equipped with both electric and marine heating systems to keep you warm, cosy and dry when the weather is cold.

During the summer it can be stuffy and warm at night when on-board, and the cabins are equipped with opening hatches and windows to keep cool, fresh air flowing in.    During colder weather, the modern heating systems are a welcome addition (that not every RYA Training Centre provides) - especially after a brisk day's sailing in the early season!

In Winter Season Nov-Feb we can and do experience cold temperatures, but sailing still goes ahead as planned and everyone enjoys themselves immensely - wrapped-up when out on deck, and warm and cosy down-below at night.  During much warmer Spring and Summer months, it is common to eat the evening meal and drinks outside on deck.
